5G Radiation and Skin Cancer

This article discusses the topic of 5G radiation. It is a non-ionizing form of electromagnetic radiation. Because 5G radiation is small, it does not possess the capability of breaking chemical bonds in biological tissues or trigger any changes to cells. It isn't known whether the effects of 5G radiation alter the risk of developing skin cancer. No evidence has been found to suggest that it can cause other disease.

There is no definite answer at present to the question of whether the 5G radiation can cause skin cancer. However, it is believed that 5G RF-EMFs behave much like high-LET ionizing radiations. In turn, they can produce large amounts of free radicals that can be found in the skin. The FCC has not issued any specific guidelines on the risks of 5G technology. Consequently, the debate is ongoing.



Although there are a number of studies on the effects of radio waves that are higher frequency on the health of humans but they've remained limited in extent. However, there is concern over the effects of millimeter-wavelength exposure on oxidative stress and gene expression. These effects could be extended to the skin as well as other organs, like the brain.

Influence on other diseases
A new generation of wireless technology called 5G is rapidly expanding however, scientists are concerned about the potential health hazards. 5G technology is expected to significantly increase the amount of electromagnetic radiation in our environment. This issue has caused debate in several nations which includes Switzerland. In September 2017 390 scientists and doctors supported a motion for an end to 5G deployment. The motion was not taken seriously by the European Commission, which is responsible for monitoring the use of 5G technology.

Therefore, more research is needed to determine the health impacts of 5G. However studies have proven that 5G does not cause the same adverse effects on humans as radiofrequency from the older mobile networks. Additionally, it does not transmit a new type of coronavirus. Additionally it does not make people more susceptible to viral infections.


The measurement of exposure
Monitoring exposure to 5G radiation is an essential component of ensuring the safety of 5G networks. There are  5g radiation poisoning  to determine exposure. However, this report contains a number of problems, including biased reportage.

The strength and frequency of the radio waves that carry energy will depend on the frequency. The energy that is carried by a millimetre waves will be the same as that of current radio waves, but they are much smaller in size and better suited for high-density environments because they cannot be blocked by glass or walls. Highly dense urban areas will require a high number of small, low-power sites, and suburban areas will benefit from 5G stations that operate at lower frequency.
